Flash flooding was reported at Adjuntas municipality during the afternoon when heavy rains caused river Rio Grande de Arecibo in Adjuntas to overtop the bridge Puente de la Playita. A person tried to cross the bridge in his car when a water crest came and washed him and the car downriver.
