Major winter storm brought heavy snow, strong winds and wind chills below zero. Blowing and drifting snow was reported on most major highways throughout northern Arizona. In Zone 4 the North Rim of the Grand Canyon reported 8 inches of new snow. In Zone 9 Kayenta reported 12 inches, Navajo National Monument reported 10 inches and there were unconfirmed reports of accumulations up to 18 inches. In Zone 15 Flagstaff received 7 inches and Hart Prairie at 9000 Feet received 9 inches. In Zone 16 Blue Ridge reported 8 inches of new snow and Heber received 10 inches. Finally in Zone 18 Calcord Mountain in extreme NE Gila County received 10 inches of new snow.
