STRONG HIGH PRESSURE OVER NORTHEAST UNITED STATES COUPLED WITH A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OVER WESTERN CARIBBEAN RESULTED IN A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS FLORIDA. HIGHEST EASTERLY WINDS WERE ALONG THE FLORIDA SOUTHEAST COAST. 15 TO 30 FEET OF BEACH ERODED AND 3 TO 4 FEET OF TOP SAND WAS LOST.
