A strong winter storm system moved through Utah this Thanksgiving and left snow throughout most of the state. From 10-31 inches fell in the mountains and 2-15 inches in the valleys. The Brianhead ski resort had 31 inches, highest in the state. The most in a valley location was measured in Kanosh with 15 inches. Numerous road closures and traffic accidents occurred throughout Utah during this storm. Several traffic related injuries were reported but fortunately no deaths.
