A persistent moist northwest flow aloft resulted in snowfall totals of 3 to 5 feet in the northern mountains and 2 to 4 feet in the central mountains of western Colorado. Lower elevation snowfall totals of 12 inches or more were common. Steamboat Springs received 37 inches, while the adjacent mountains picked up 45 to 60 inches.
