Event narrative

Four to eight inches of rain fell over much of Kimble County, with ten inches reported at Segovia and 16 inches a few miles north of Segovia. The heavy rains and floodwaters closed Farm-to-Market roads and highways throughout the county. Water was five feet deep at the entrance to South Llano State Park. The county judge estimated millions of dollars of damage on roads and bridges.
