Event narrative

The San Benito River, the Tres Pinos Creek near Tres Pinos and the Clear Creek near Idrea all showed moderate to sharp increases in stream flow during the warning period.

Wider weather episode

Another round of heavy rain bands moved through the southern counties of Monterey and San Benito with the heaviest rain rates at 1/2 to 1 inch per hour. Mud slides are expected as well as extensive urban flooding.
