Widespread snowfalls of 3 to 5 inches with the highest rates from 2 to 4 pm. Snow fell down as low as 1500 feet. The greatest depth reported was 24 inches at the Iron Peak Fire Department, 17 miles NE of Laytonville and at 4000 feet. Ten inches was reported at the 3600 foot level two miles north of Kettenpom.
