A strong frontal system moved through central and southern Nevada producing locally heavy snow showers. In central Nevada, six inches of snow fell in the town of Tonopah and eight inches fell in Manhattan. In the Spring Mountains of southern Nevada, the town of Mount Charleston received eight inches and the 8,000 foot level of Lee Canyon picked up 10 inches of snow.
