Two areas of low pressure moved along a stationary front triggering two rounds of thunderstorms that produced severe weather. The first moved across southeast Louisiana during the afternoon of the 24th. The second moved across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi during the late morning and afternoon hours of the 25th.
