During the afternoon of June 25th scattered severe thunderstorms developed over southwest and south central Idaho. The Magic Valley bore the brunt of these storms with numerous reports of 3/4 inch to one and a half inch hail over Owyhee, Gooding, Jerome and Twin Falls Counties. On Interstate 84 near the town of Bliss large hialstones broke automobile windshields. In the Treasure Valley one report of 3/4 inch hail was received from the Gem County town of Emmett.
