Outflow winds from nearby thunderstorms gusted up to 70 mph across Twin Falls and Jerome Counties on the evening of July 30th. Numerous trees were uprooted and power was cut to about 15,000 customers. Twenty storm related fires were caused, one of which destroyed a home in Twin Falls. A few sheds and outbuildings around the Magic Valley were damaged and destroyed by the winds.
