Dry microburst winds from severe thunderstorms caused areas of blowing dust to develop across northern Utah. Around 1400 MST visibilities dropped to near zero on I-15 in southern Salt Lake City and resulted in a several multi-vehicle accidents. Downed power lines and trees occurred in Utah and Juab counties as well. A microburst wind gust to 67 mph (58kts) was measured at the NWSFO SLC.
