Severe thunderstorms ripped through the Wasatch Front on this date. Heavy rains combined with the spring runoff and caused flooding in Davis county during the morning hours. Several homes experienced basement and yard flooding from the 1-1.5" of rain that fell in the area. In the afternoon severe thunderstorms developed. Hail, microburst winds and 2 weak tornadoes caused damage.
