A strong low pressure center 50 miles northwest of Unalakleet produced wind gusts to 62 mph at Unalakleet. Lesser winds, gusting 41 mph,were reported at Galena, however one tree fell onto a power line. At Nulato, the Co-op observer reported "damaging winds", speed not estimated.
