Event narrative

Torrential thunderstorm rains created widespread flash flooding across the county as numerous roads were closed. Several evacuations were required in the city of Bingamon, but the majority of problems were reported in the Mannington area. Flooding damaged 100 homes in Mannington, with around three feet of water reported in some of the city streets.
