Wider weather episode

A cold front moving across the northern Great Basin produced strong gradient winds. Sustained winds were in the 30-40 mph range with gusts as high as 60 mph at Winnemucca airport, 48 mph at the National Weather Service office in Elko and 47 mph at Red Butte, in West Central Lander County. A greenhouse at Grass Valley Elementary School in Winnemucca was destroyed.
