1998-11-01 to 1998-11-30 · Big Bend Area, Texas

Wider weather episode

Drought conditions continued in Southwest Texas and Southeast New Mexico. Agricultural losses will be great but will not be included until the end of the year when totals are calculated. November was another dry month across much of the region with most stations reporting less than a half inch of rain. However, about a third of the reporting stations did receive an inch or more of rain, with a few stations receiving 2 or more inches. Overall, the effects of the drought continued across the region.
