A strong low over the Central Gulf of Alaska tracked north over Cape Yakataga, and the associated front moved onshore over the Panhandle with strong, gusty winds. Peak gust was 53kt/61mph at Ketchikan. A power outage occured in Juneau due to a downed tree near the high school.
