Strong Taku winds occurred for several hours in downtown Juneau. Peak winds during the event were 61 mph at Mayflower Island, 67 mph at the Federal Building, and 76 mph at the rock dump. Strong outflow winds were also recorded at Cape Spencer - 73 mph - and Eldred Rock - 60 mph.
