A winter storm dumped heavy snow upon the mountains of southwest Idaho. In the West Central Mountains Smith's Ferry received 10 inches of snow and Deadwood measured 8 inches. In the Boise Mountains Centerville received 10 inches with Lowman picking up 8 inches and Crouch 11 inches. In the Owyhee Mountains Silver City received 10 inches of new snow.
