A pacific storm system moved over south west Idaho and produced heavy snow in the Owyhee Mountains where Silver City reported 5 to 6 inches of new snow. In the Treasure Valley the storm produced 2 to 3 inches of snow with an isolated report of 5 inches at the Boise National Weather Service office.
