Brisk southeast winds preceded a moderate front, which moved northeast through the Bering Sea Wednesday and early Thursday. Gusts reached 64 mph at Cold Bay prior to frontal passage at 10 pm Wednesday. Strongest winds were recorded between 3pm and 4pm ADT Wednesday.
