Rainfall of up to 1 inch over the eastern Tanana Valley and the Alaska Range produced localized flooding. Eight inches of water covered the Alaska Highway Sunday afternoon at milepost 1336 or 10 miles west of Tananacross. Also there was a partial washout of the Alaska Highway at the Little Gerstle River Bridge.
