High winds behind a strong cold front knocked down trees throughout the county. Strong winds pealed the steel roof off a storage shed in Jersey Shore. The debris struck and fatally injured one person.

Strong gradient winds behind a cold front caused widespread tree damage across central Pennsylvania. All 36 zones in the State College area of warning responsibility reported some damage from the strong wind event.
