Locally strong southeast winds were reported around Cold Bay Saturday as a moderate front moved toward the area from the west. Adjusted ASOS gusts reached 62 mph Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Gusty southeast winds finally diminished below 55 mph just after noon Sunday.
