The Jones Incident was a civilian caused fire, but was aided by high winds and steep terrain. Four injuries and zero deaths were reported. The fire was responsible for burning over 26,000 acres as well as destroying 128 residences and 300 outbuildings. Fire suppression costs approached 4 million dollars.
