A strong front, moving eastward through the Aleutians, was preceded by brisk southeast winds across the Aleutians, the Pribilofs, the Alaska Peninsula, Western Bristol Bay and the Kuskokwim Delta. Gusts from 58 to 67 mph were common, with strongest winds along the Kuskokwim Delta coast at Hooper Bay Wednesday morning.
