Early in the morning scattered showers and thunderstorms moved westward across the eastern sections of Puerto Rico. This activity was associated with a low level wind surge in combination with an upper jet north of the region. The most affected municipalities were; Patillas, Guayama, Naguabo, Yabucoa and Maunabo. Several rivers and streams overflowed their banks flooding low lying areas and roads.
