Event narrative

Six high school football players were hurt and two hospitalised when an equipment shed collapsed in southern Mahoning County just to the north of Salem. The football players had entered the shed to seek protection from thunderstorm winds estimated at 65 mph. Many trees, a couple power poles and a large road sign were downed in Youngstown.
