A strong storm moved northeast over the Bering Sea with it's associated weather front moving to south of Saint Lawrence Island before dissipating the afternoon of the 18th. Blizzard conditions occurred at Gambell and briefly at Savoonga (Saint Lawrence Island); also at Cape Romanzof (Yukon Delta).
