A strong spring storm moving across Colorado generated significant rain as well as heavy snow across the higher elevations. Snow totals across the higher elevations of the eastern mountains were over a foot. Some of the higher reported snow totals at lower elevations included five inches near Westcliffe (Custer County) and six inches at Woodland Park (Teller County).
