An emergency manager went through a thunderstorm on highway 97 south of Entiat. The storm produced moderate hail, heavy rainfall, and strong winds. Lightning ignited two new fires but the rainfall quuickly put them out.

Wider weather episode

After record hot temperatures occurred over the weekend a cold front passed through Monday June 29,2015 and produced numerous thunderstorms, some being severe, over Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.
