The wind gauge at the Green Bay Harbor Entrance Light recorded a gust of 58 knots as storms passed across the waters of southern Green Bay. The wind equipment at this site is 80 feet above the water level.
The wider storm
The line of storms that produced high winds as it pushed east across Wisconsin produced strong winds as it passed over Green Bay and the nearshore waters of Lake Michigan.
