A small waterspout occurred a few miles offshore of the west end of Panama City Beach. Video was obtained by Carnage Charters and relayed by WJHG-TV.

The wider storm

Several rounds of strong thunderstorms moved across the coastal waters during the last week of the month, producing waterspouts and winds in excess of 34 knots.
