A WeatherFlow station in the Indian River Lagoon just north of the A1A causeway in Jensen Beach recorded a 44-knot wind gust out of the south as a line of storms pushed offshore.
Wider weather episode
Enhanced westerly flow across the state focused thunderstorm development along the east coast of Florida, with a few storms producing strong winds as they pushed over the intracoastal and into the Atlantic.
