A WeatherFlow station in the Indian River Lagoon just north of the A1A causeway in Jensen Beach recorded a 34-knot wind gust out of the south as thunderstorms passed over the intracoastal.
Wider weather episode
Enhanced westerly flow across the state focused thunderstorm development along the east coast of Florida, with a few storms producing strong winds as they pushed over the intracoastal and into the Atlantic.
