USAF tower 1007 recorded a peak wind gust of 41 knots out of the southwest as a line of thunderstorms pushed over the intracoastal waters.

Weak low pressure over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico combined with ample atmospheric moisture to generate numerous showers and thunderstorms that produced strong wind gusts as they pushed off the east central Florida coast.
