USAF tower 0415 recorded a 34 knot wind gust out of the west southwest as thunderstorms moved offshore.

Southwest flow maintained a warm and moist atmosphere over central Florida. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms developed over the mainland and produced strong wind gusts as they pushed offshore Brevard and Volusia Counties.
