A Weatherflow station in Choctawhatchee Bay recorded a 50 mph wind gust as an outflow boundary moved through.
Wider weather episode
A large outflow boundary produced from thunderstorms well inland, quickly raced south across the Alabama and northwest Florida coastal waters on the afternoon of June 30th. Numerous strong wind gusts were produced by this outflow boundary.
