A WeatherFlow station on the Indian River Lagoon near Rocky Point Road in Malabar recorded a peak wind gust of 37 knots out of the north as an outflow boundary ahead of a line of storms moved over the waterway.
Wider weather episode
Numerous showers and thunderstorms ahead of an approaching frontal boundary over north Florida produced strong wind gusts as they moved offshore the east-central Florida coast.
