The Cherokee County Emergency Manager reported golf ball sized hail at Reinhardt College Parkway and North Etowah Drive.

Moderate instability, ample moisture and strong afternoon heating resulted in widespread strong thunderstorms over North and Central Georgia. Numerous reports of damaging thunderstorms winds and large hail were received from across North Georgia during the afternoon and evening of June 26th.
