The Hancock County Emergency Manager reported a couple of large pecan trees blown down in Sparta.

A moderate short wave sweeping through the region pushed a weak cold front through North Georgia and into Central Georgia, resulting in numerous thunderstorms. A few reports of damaging thunderstorm winds and large hail were received from late morning through the evening.
