Several trees and power lines were reported down in Elizabethton and the surrounding area. Large tree limbs were also reported down on Cedar Grove Road.

A few showers and thunderstorms formed in the vicinity of a stationary front just north of Southwest Virginia late in the afternoon producing isolated pockets of wind damage.
