The Eureka County Sheriff reported flash flooding on county route 101 and Highway 50 north and west of Eureka. Damages are estimated.

The wider storm

Heavy rain from thunderstorms produced flash flooding on Pole Line Road about 14 miles northwest of Tonopah and along Highway 50 just west of Eureka. Thunderstorms winds gusted to 70 mph at the Warm Springs Summit mesonet site east of Tonopah, and 58 mph at the Tonopah airport. One inch diameter hail was reported just west of Lages Junction.
