Highway 264 was washed out in several places. The Dyer co-op observer measured 3.07 inches of rain between 4 PM and 9 PM, which set a 24-hour rainfall record for the station.

Wider weather episode

The last remnants of monsoon moisture from the late July push produced isolated flash flooding in eastern California and western Nevada.
