The Jenkins County Fire and Rescue reported trees and power lines down on Perkins-Greenfork Road.

Wider weather episode

An inland trough of low pressure and a destabilizing atmosphere in wake of earlier convection led to additional showers and thunderstorms that shifted into parts of southeast Georgia. Several of these thunderstorms became strong to severe with damaging winds.
