Event narrative

A tree limb was blown down at Poe Springs park, which hit a woman on the head. Two others were injured. The woman died due to head trauma from the tree limb.

A digging upper level trough across the eastern U.S. in addition to sea breeze forcing over and unstable and moist airmass yielded severe storms during the afternoon and evening hours.
