McIntosh County dispatch reported two trees down around Darien. One tree was down on Pine Street at Black Road. The other tree was down on a power line and two vehicles in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed in the early afternoon hours within an unstable airmass across central Georgia. The storms then pushed into southeast Georgia in the mid to late afternoon hours, producing damaging wind gusts.
