High Temperatures were in the mid 90s to near 100, July 1 through July 5th which is around 15 degrees higher than the seasonal normal. The low temperatures were also unseasonably warm.

Wider weather episode

A strong upper ridge over the region resulted in hot weather for the Willamette Valley where temperatures peaked 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit above the seasonal normal.
